There is no doubt that how we experience ourselves in relationships is of great importance to us. Be it within the family, with friends or coworkers we are interacting and relating to many people throughout our lives. The scenarios are many, and the situations differ but underlying all is the hope that we create something harmonious and enjoyable that enriches our lives. Read more

It seems our TFT community is making yet another connection with am NGO connected to the United Nations.  The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) includes a department that specifically engages with NGO’s that meet their criteria, and are working to make a difference in the world.  I recently blogged about Dr. Ayame Morikawa’s new appointment with an NGO, World Human Facility (WHO-eu) recognized by ECOSOC.

Just a few months ago,  Jenny Edwards, a TFT Foundation Board member and a professor at Fielding University, introduced me to women working with an NGO affiliated with Fielding; The Worldwide Network for Gender Empowerment (WNGE).  This group works with programs in low and middle income countries that are making a difference for children, with a special focus on young women.  This group also, is recognized by ECOSCO and has consultative status, a high status for an NGO affiliated with ECOSOC.

Not long ago, through this connection, I was asked to participate in a Skype session which included a woman in Tanzania who directs programs in several countries.  There is a thought currently, that these programs might be more efficient and more effective if they incorporated work that directly addressed –psychological issues, such as anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma.  There is preliminary consideration of the possibility of incorporating TFT into one of these programs initially and there will be more exploring of this idea in the near future.  Through this connection, I was invited to join  three other women representing WNGE at the 60th UN Commission on the Status of Women: Women’s Empowerment and Sustainable Development (CSW60), starting March 14th at the UN in New York.

This will be a new experience for me, and one that I look forward to.  I look forward especially, to be representing TFT at this meeting. I am so grateful to Jenny Edwards for opening this possibility for us.

We visited some of the most beautiful waterfalls and hot water pools you can imagine.  And, we did all of this in the area surrounding the heart chakra of the earth.

Everyone experienced healing and life changing transformations. They all left with the tools to continue their healing journey.  We are already planning next year’s event in this beautiful country.

The beauty, energy (a base of deep quartz crystal) and some of TFT’s newest tools created a spectacular experience for us all.  I am now getting ready for our next Well-Being retreat in another magical place, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  And, I brought back a special healing tool from Brazil.  Watch for news on this new tool to be added to our Well-Being Retreat.

What Is TFT Voice Technology and what will I be able to do with it?  How long will it take me to put it to work after I take the course?

I get asked these questions and others all of the time. So,I thought I would share something from two of our recent Optimal Health grads and one of our long time TFT-VT practitioners, Dr. Colin Barron.

Maria attended our recent course in Brazil and even sent us a YouTube video of her excitement. For those of us that don’t speak Portuguese, she kindly sent me the English translation.

Yolanda attended our Paris Optimal Health course and shares her first ever case, her infant daughter’s amazing recovery from being ill.

Then Dr. Colin Barron, a long-time TFT-VT practitioner and physician in Scotland, shares a complex OCD case. It is an example of how quickly and thoroughly one can use VT to address a complicated and previously recalcitrant problem, and how it holds up over time. Read more

What started as a simple therapeutic treatment to stimulate the body’s own healing systems through tapping on various points of the body—much the same way Chinese physicians use acupuncture to do—has become much more mainstream, launching the fields of energy psychology and energy medicine in the western world.

Thousands have recovered rapidly from troublesome disorders like insomnia, gout or tinnitus. Others have eliminated stress, anxiety and fears – and even physical pain literally within minutes. Hundreds have regained their lives by curbing addictive urges for nicotine, controlled substances or obsessive behaviors. Those suffering the aftereffects of trauma—warfare, rape, injury or loss— have instantly removed the horrible emotions and feelings tied to that event which previously controlled their lives, sometimes for decades.

How Did Thought Field Therapy Come Into Being?

In 1979, as a licensed psychologist in private practice, Roger was counseling a young mother who was terrified of water. In fact, her phobia was so extreme; she was unable to pursue even the most basic activities if they involved water or brought her near to water. To our great frustration, after a year of using all the traditional therapy methods, our patient “Mary” was no better than before. Sitting outside near our swimming pool one day, she became nauseous from just the thought of the water nearby. Then Roger had an idea. Remembering that the Chinese had used acupuncture for over 5,000 years to stimulate the flow of energy through what they call the body’s “meridians” or electrical pathways, he asked Mary to tap a few times under her eye – the location of the end point of the stomach meridian.

After several seconds of tapping, Mary exclaimed, “It’s gone!” and made a beeline for the pool bending down to splash water on her face. Quite frankly, we were dumbfounded. Yet that night, Mary decided to test her phobia cure further by driving to the ocean in a rare California rainstorm. Wading into the surf, she remained completely free of her fear. Trying to make sense of what had just happened; we questioned how such an unusual technique could bring about results when it was so contrary to all our traditional training and all recognized therapy protocols. These are the same procedures given in the Daily Stress Busting Program, where you will see exactly how and where to apply them to yourself, for the stress of everything from job interviews to exam anxiety to travel fears.

Today’s world is chaotic, filled with anxiety, trauma and stress, from natural disasters, war, terrorists and the economic crises of job loss, home foreclosures and stock market crashes.

This constant stress on our minds and bodies takes its toll. Studies continually tell us stress depresses our immune system, increases risk of heart disease, aggravates weight and addictive behaviors and leads to sleep problems. Not to speak of what it does to us emotionally.

To get emotional freedom, you need to first get free of stress. Most of us find these stresses inescapable, but, there is something you can do, quickly and simply, to reduce the stress on your system.

Dr. Roger Callahan’s Thought Field Therapy® has over 30 years of success in conquering trauma, stress, phobias, fears and addictions. It has some proven yet simple, self-help procedures (based on the body’s meridian system) that will decrease the stress we experience daily.

These protocols are explained, in detail, in Dr. Roger Callahan’s book, Tapping the Healer Within, and key procedures for reducing stress are provided in his Daily Stress Busting Program.

This simple, Daily Stress Busting Program, based on procedures from his book Tapping the Healer Within, and proven in relief work in areas such as Kosovo, Rwanda, New Orleans, can offer you significant relief in your hectic, unpredictable world. Find the emotional freedom you need.

stress-cancer-trauma - TFT

Last week we did an introductory level tele-class, Though Field Therapy, Stress, Trauma and Cancer, where we outlined some of the many ways TFT can help people who have cancer. The recording is available to listen to here.

If you tuned into this meeting, you will recall how we found that our treatment for trauma can be of great help in two major ways. It was Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, a German oncologist, who developed cancer after he suddenly lost his son in an automobile accident. Although many professionals attribute the origin of numerous problems to past traumas, Dr. Hamer, I believe, is quite correct in this theory that such a trauma can start and nurture the beginning of cancer due to the amount of stress that can suddenly and unexpectedly submerge a person. This theory is further supported in a book by Lothar Herneise. (Herneise, Lothar 2005 Chemotherapy heals cancer and the world is flat. Sensei Verlag Kernen/Germany).

Fortunately, I discovered and know exactly how to reduce and even eliminate every trace of such horrible intense stress.

Our recent teleclass on Tapping the Healer Within, tells us the many, many ways stress negatively effects our well being and emotional health. (By the way, I am aware that the usual method of reducing stress is a combination of breathing deeply and progressively relaxing the tension in the muscles. I found this method to be possible, but not reliable, for it is too difficult to do to the degree to which it is needed to help a human.)

I have found that the trauma treatments I developed can eliminate not only a trauma that may have been causal in the development of a disease but also on the now current trauma of being diagnosed with cancer.

I personally know the importance of successfully treating and eliminating the trauma from a diagnosis of cancer. I have had that diagnosis and so has my wife. We are both cancer free and regularly address the stress and trauma in our lives, in order to prevent it’s return.

Listen in on our teleseminar recording to find out more.

Dr. Callahan, TFT’s Founder and Developer, and Joanne Callahan, MBA, share 16 ways to help cancer patients. Both Dr. Callahan and Joanne are cancer survivors, familiar with the traumas, fears and challenges of someone suffering from cancer.  You can find out more about this one-hour teleclass on Cancer and Thought Field Therapy® here.
